Hogwarts Will Welcome You Home

A place to appreciate everything J.K. Rowling has blessed us with. The stories and movies may be over but they will always live on in our hearts.

Harry Potter Books are Treasured Items

Does anybody else treasure their Harry Potter books the way that I do? It’s not like I tuck them in every night before I go to sleep or something creepy like that but I do always make sure to be careful with them and treat them in a decent manner. Yesterday afternoon I was in my local library and I realized that they were having a book sale right in the main lobby of the library. At the end of my perusing of the used books I noticed that there was a Harry Potter book hidden in between some other books. Needless to say, I snatched it right up! It was a paperback copy of Chamber of Secrets for the small price of fifty cents and yes, I bought it. Giving away Harry Potter books has never once even crossed my mind. I don’t know how it could cross anyone’s mind in all honesty. This book isn’t even in bad condition. I’m glad that I can now give this book a more suitable home… On the shelf next to four other copies of the same book. ;)

“Where else in cinema or a big film franchise is there a female character that is not just supplementary or additional or the pretty face. She’s a breakthrough, I think. Ron says at the beginning, “I don’t know if we’ll get through a day without Hermione”. She’s like the brains behind the whole operation. And she’s so integral to that trio and to Harry’s success. I think she’s a very important figure.”
